What part of the country are you from and what type of hunting do you do?

Hey Ian, believe it or not I am from SC, grew up in Abbeville county on the Savannah river before it was dammed and formed Lake Russell. I would have loved to have some access to the property that is now under water. I just moved down to St. Matthews from Woodruff due to my job. As for hunting, right now I'm still learning and dig for everything and anything. I'm really interested in relic hunting as my dad and I lease a property back in Abbeville county that dates back to the early 1800's to late 1780's. The original plantation house as well as most of the slave quarters and out buildings are still standing, unfortunately there is also a ton of trash in the ground and my machine is just not up to the task in terms of discrimination. I have an Ace 150 but one day will move up. You guys are awesome to watch, keep up the good work.

I hear you about the trash.....
But at a good spot like that where you know there is probably some good stuff, you just have to put in the time to clean the place of all the trash before you can get down to the good stuff. I would definitely say it would be worth it to clean a plantation spot out

No problem, I truly enjoy the show. When I lived near the site, I worked it very hard. Now that I am 3 hours away, I have been much less frequently. I did manage a nice axe head find at about 6 inches on an old foot path on the property about 100 yards from the plantation.
