Possible CW Pistol BarrelFound several buttons and a couple of Sharps Cart...Found what looks like a CW era muzzle loader boot pistol barrel...I put the 10X12 Butterfly on a MXT I bought the other day....Wow!...What a combination! It's almost like looking in a totally new CW camp!!....

Great finds!! That's for sure a boot pistol of some type. It sorta looks like a 1842 Ames pistol, but not sure. How long is the barrel?
Also those ringtail Sharps bullets are rare around my parts. I've always wanted to dig one of those. Get back out there and see what else can be found. Congrats!

That's a nice looking relic! Haven't found a barrel yet.
Do you have plans on cleaning it and preserving it?

Awesome! I can't wait to see it afterward. You should show us a step by step cleaning process!
That would be awesome!
