I watched the 12x15 SEF coil video....I am impressed with the debth!!However I am concerned with the noise it is making on your detector....Does it always hum that loud?
No, that's the threshold. You use it to hear the deep targets. You turn it to a level where you can hear it comfortably and then listen for the bumps in the tone. I turned the threshold volume up so that the camera would be able to pick up the sound that I was describing.

No Problem!  Yeah, it's one of the features of the White's line of detectors. It helps out when a target isn't identified by the display.
