My newest find and projectJust before Ian found the CS buckle in last show I found this knife.I took the knife home and began looking it over and trying to get some of the rust off. It seemed to have some writing etched on the blade. Well after a few weeks of working on it and doing some research the story is starting to come together. I've spent a good bit of time trying to fiqure this little broken knife out. I just wanted to post some pictures to show everyone sometimes a treasure can be found in the iron you dig. Some might say all the iron stuff is junk, but this tells a story to me. If anyone has any information about this maker feel free to post it. I would love to find a non-dug knife by this maker to compare them. Also if I'm seeing things let me know! I've looked at this thing so long I could be way off on it. Overall pic of the Knife

Brian, I collect knives but im not an expert , but just from the "feel" of that It looks like you have an original,VERY old and EXTREMELY rare "butcher" knife, GOOD FIND! |
